<p>i came across this today, and have been wondering whether or not it would (or could) ever actually work. designed by julien bergignat and patrice mouille, the comments on the original article are full of such questions. having worked a lot with polypropylene (the material of which the outer shell is made of) i would presume it would not protect you in a crash at all.</p>
<p>however, it is still a nice concept, definitely an interesting design, and who knows!</p>
