this is the wicker basket, by cecilie manz for muuto. another nice product for the brand (after the previously posted about ‘match’ tealight holder), this is a very modern take on a traditional scandinavian wicker basket. made of a ceramic-plastic composite, this basket is both strong, durable and lightweight, and i really like the graphic style of it.

i came across this today whilst doing some research, and was very impressed! called ‘match’, by swedish design studio ‘form us with love’, designed for danish company muuto. a very simple idea, done very well! everyone’s had the problem of trying to light a tealight for a holder, and either burnt themselves or put out the flame by dropping the candle in, so it’s amazing no one thought of it before. i can’t find a price at this moment, but hopefully i’ll find out soon.
