i saw this on designboom, and loved the process involved. mdfo is a range of mdf experiments by israeli designer oron ohayon, using mdf and hot water. from the article:

i have seen quite a few things that i like recently. and this is another product that immediately caught my eye!
the appropriately named k95 (it measures 95mm in length) by manworksdesign comes in red, black, white and green. it comes in 1gb and 2gb models, and is waterproof too.
